Com o objetivo de ampliar o acesso a medicamentos e reduzir custos para a população, o vereador Aziel Almeida de Souza apresentou um projeto de lei na Câmara Municipal do Cabo de Santo Agostinho que propõe a criação da Farmácia de Manipulação Municipal.
A iniciativa visa garantir a produção de medicamentos essenciais para distribuição gratuita à população em situação de vulnerabilidade social, além de atender à demanda da rede pública de saúde.
Segundo a proposta, a farmácia será responsável por manipular fórmulas personalizadas para atender pacientes com necessidades específicas, como aqueles que utilizam medicamentos de uso contínuo ou que não encontram determinadas formulações no mercado convencional. Além disso, poderá produzir fitoterápicos e medicamentos de baixo custo, contribuindo para a ampliação do acesso à saúde no município.
